1. Build your profile
Your profile is what we match you on, so the details matter more than they look. Add your institution, course, year of study, county and the dates your institution has set for attachment.
Add the skills you actually have, not the ones you hope to have. A short, honest list matches better than a long one.
2. Upload what your institution and hosts need
Most institutions issue an introduction letter for attachment. Upload it with your CV. Documents are checked automatically, and anything unclear goes to a person at CareerCraft Connections.
- Upload a clear scan or photo — every page, nothing cut off.
- Use the name on your documents exactly as it appears on your profile.
- If a document is refused, the reason is shown. Fix that one thing and upload again.
3. Request a place, and sit the assessment if there is one
Some places call for a short, timed assessment of the skills the work needs. It is practical: what you would do at work, not definitions from a textbook. Your result, not who you know, is what decides.
See our guide on preparing for an assessment before you start one.
4. We allocate you to a host
CareerCraft Connections matches you to a verified host organisation whose work suits your course and level. The host does not interview you or choose between students — they receive the student we place.
We check that the duties are real learning for your course, not just filing or errands.
5. Pay, and get your placement letter
Before you pay, you see the placement fee in your account. You pay through an M-Pesa prompt sent to your phone from inside your account, and you get a receipt. Your placement letter is issued as soon as payment is confirmed.
We never ask you to send money to a personal number. If anyone does, it is not us — tell us straight away.
6. During the attachment
You keep a weekly digital logbook that your host supervisor signs off. The skills in signed-off weeks become verified evidence on your profile — something future employers can rely on.
If something goes wrong at the placement, raise it from your account. A person at CareerCraft Connections reviews every report.
