What you do
- Register your organisation. We verify it before any student is placed.
- Tell us how many students you can take, when, and the objective requirements of the work — for example, the course area and level it suits.
- Describe the duties honestly. We check that they are real learning for the student's course.
- Welcome the student we place, give them a supervisor, and sign off their weekly logbook.
What you do not do
You do not interview, shortlist or choose between students. CareerCraft Connections assesses students and allocates the one whose skills fit the place. That keeps the process fair to students, and saves you the hiring work.
If you want to recruit — to interview and choose — that is what internships and jobs are for, and they are separate.
If something goes wrong
Use “Report placement issue” from your workspace. A person at CareerCraft Connections reviews every report, talks to both sides, and can arrange a different placement if it is needed.
What you get
- Students who have been assessed on the skills the work needs.
- Documents checked before the student arrives.
- A digital logbook instead of paper, and a clear record of the placement.
- Often, an early look at someone you may want to hire later.
