What it is not

CareerCraft’s institution portal is deliberately narrow. It is a visibility layer, not a replacement for your existing processes.

It does not replace your attachment coordinator or supervision process.
It does not store or transmit student logbooks, assessor reports or academic transcripts.
It does not give CareerCraft any control over your curriculum or attachment requirements.
It does not require any technical integration — no API, no student system connection.
It is not mandatory. Students can use CareerCraft without their institution being registered.

Common questions

Is this free for institutions?: Yes. The institution portal is free. CareerCraft charges the student the placement fee, not the institution.
Do students have to register their institution on CareerCraft?: Students declare their institution when they sign up. If your institution is registered, their status feeds into your dashboard automatically. If not, you still see students who listed your institution by name.
What about data protection?: The institution portal shows only students from your institution who have registered on CareerCraft. You see their placement status — not their assessment scores, personal details beyond what they shared with you already, or any information about students from other institutions.
We already track placements manually. Why would we use this?: You do not have to. If your current process works, this adds nothing. If you want to reduce the manual chasing — contacting students to confirm they have found a host, asking for placement letter copies — the portal automates that visibility.
How do we sign up?: Register your institution on this page. CareerCraft confirms your role with the institution — usually within one working day — and your institution workspace opens.
